Holidays on Rails - Your Journey by Train

Koblenz is the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley. Start your vacation already with the arrival and enjoy fabulous views, fantastic sights, mighty nature, old walls and imposing castles already on your train ride through the Upper Middle Rhine Valley or the Moselle Valley. The Loreley, Pfalzgrafenstein Castle, Marksburg Castle or Schloss Stolzenfels are just a few of the sights on your way.

Affordable City Transport with the Koblenz Card

Cardholders can take the bus 24 hours a day free of charge in the city and also receive numerous discounts, e.g. on the cable car or guided tours of the Old Town. You can get the card at the Tourist Information in the Forum Confluentes for €9.80.

Arrival by Car / Parking in Koblenz

There are 10 parking garages near the Koblenz city centre in which you can park your car during your holiday. There are only a few parking spaces available. In order to arrive relaxed, we recommend that you choose a multi-storey car park near your hotel beforehand and park your car there.

You will not need your car during your stay in Koblenz. Koblenz is a city for pedestrians. The old town with its churches and squares, Ehrenbreitstein Fortress with its cable car, the Rhine promenade, Koblenz Castle, the Middle Rhine Museum, the Romanticum or the Ludwig Museum - all these sights are within easy walking distance. Stolzenfels Castle, Marksburg Castle or Eltz Castle are easily reached by boat, bus or train.
