How to find your way to Koblenz.

Koblenz is conveniently located in the heart of Europe. Koblenz is very easy to reach from all four directions - and by any means of transport. Whether by train or long-distance bus, by bike or on foot - in addition to the car, there are numerous convenient ways to reach our city.

Holidays on Rails - Your Journey by Train

Koblenz is the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley. Start your vacation already with the arrival and enjoy fabulous views, fantastic sights, mighty nature, old walls and imposing castles already on your train ride through the Upper Middle Rhine Valley or the Moselle Valley. The Loreley, Pfalzgrafenstein Castle, Marksburg Castle or Schloss Stolzenfels are just a few of the sights on your way.

Koblenz can be reached from many starting points without changing trains! Whether Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland or Austria - Koblenz is ideally connected to the route network.

For an even more relaxed journey, you have the option of sending your luggage or bicycle separately via Deutsche Bahn's luggage service.

You will find large luggage storage facilities at Koblenz main station. The lockers in the Forum Mittelrhein are also suitable for rucksacks and handbags.

Arrival by Coach

Arrival by Tour Bus

Cheap through the city with the KoblenzCard

Cardholders can travel free of charge for 24 hours on buses in the city and receive numerous discounts, such as on the Seilbahn or Altstadtguided tours. You can obtain the KoblenzCard from the Tourist Information Office at Forum Confluentes for 11 euros.

Arrival by Car / Parking in Koblenz

In Koblenz there are 10 parking garages close to the city center, where you can park your car during your vacation. Parking spaces, on the other hand, are few and far between. In order to arrive relaxed, we recommend that you choose a parking garage near your hotel in advance and park your car there.

During your stay in Koblenz you will not need your car. Koblenz is a city for pedestrians. The Altstadt with the churches and squares, the Festung Ehrenbreitstein with the Seilbahn, the Rhine promenade, the Koblenz Castle, the Middle Rhine Museum, the Romanticum or the Ludwig Museum - all these sights are very easy to reach on foot. The Schloss Stolzenfels, the Marksburg or the castle Eltz you can reach wonderfully by boat, bus or train.
