But you don't have to go that far, because even from Koblenz you can reach many sights in the Hunsrück. Especially for cyclists and hikers the Hunsrück is worth a trip. Adventurous paths await you on the heights, along the rivers and in the lush forests.

On the partially disused railroad line of the Hunsrück Railway stands the Hubertus Viaduct. Spectacular views of this historic bridge can be enjoyed from various hiking trails!

Geierlay Suspension Bridge

One of the most famous sights of the region is the Geierlay suspension bridge. This 360 meter long suspension bridge was built in 2015 and is part of the Saar-Hunsrück Climb.

The numerous hiking trails are varied: forest passages, quiet stream valleys, distant views of the Hunsrück and the Eifel. In the Baybach valley there used to be 32 mills from the source to the mouth near Burgen on the Moselle. you can discover 7 of these old mills on the hike Traumschleife Baybachtal.
