Discover the Lahn Valley

From its source in North Rhine-Westphalia, the quiet Lahn flows 245 km to Lahnstein (Koblenz) in Rhineland-Palatinate. Of course, we recommend a trip to the Lahn Valley from Koblenz. You can swim in the healing waters in Bad Ems, go canoeing on the river or take numerous hiking trails behind them. So Germany's most beautiful sights can also be found in the Lahn Valley!

Sights Along the Lahn
Bad Ems
Spa Town of Bad Ems
"Not all water is the same" is the general wisdom. On the Lahn, you can test this right away in your own flesh. Bad Ems alone has 15 healing springs! Whether you want to try a sip of it, take a bath in a spa or inhale the famous Ems salt - you can definitely do something good for your health here. However, you don't have to lie on your lazy skin. The area along the Lahn is also ideal for hiking and cycling. And with the steepest standseilbahn in the world, you can cover most of the altitude quite comfortably.
