Experience the Ehrenbreitstein district with its baroque residential buildings and immerse yourself in Ehrenbreitstein's time as the residence of the Archbishop and Elector of Trier (1690-1786). Here and there you will also discover how the Prussian garrison and fortress of Koblenz and Ehrenbreitstein shaped the town until 1918. Highlights: Birthplace of Clemens Brentano and Joseph Breitbach, narrow streets with baroque nooks, parts of the Prussian Ganisonsstadt. The life of the Ehrenbreitsteiner was closely connected with the castle and later Festung Ehrenbreitstein.
