The chancellor of the elector
The ghost of the long-dead chancellor Georg Michael Frank von La Roche guides you through the Koblenz of the late 18th century.
A walk through the gardens of Koblenz, from the Paradise Garden at Basilika St. Kastor to the Blumenhof, past Deutsche Eck along the wall of the Teutonic Knights, via the route of the World Heritage Gardens to the gardens of the Electoral Palace, to the municipal theater. A journey back in time through the 18th century.
Experience Chancellor von La Roche as a ghost under His Most Serene Highness Prince Clemens Wenceslaus of Saxony, Prince of Poland and Duke of Saxony, from the House of Albertine Wettin, Archbishop and Elector of Trier, Prince-Bishop of Augsburg and Prince-Provost of Ellwangen.
Listen to the stories of Sophie von La Roche, who ran a "literary salon" in Ehrenbreitstein and received guests such as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, or of the Elector's sister, Kunigunde, who was only known as "Frau Kurfürstin".
