The tourist information office in the Forum Confluentes is the central point of contact for everyone who wants to discover and experience Koblenz. Whether you are a day visitor, holiday goer or a local, we will advise you personally and in several languages with tips on sights, guided tours, events and excursions in the region. You will receive the regional pilgrim's pass "St. Jakobus-Gesellschaft Rheinland-Pfalz-Saarland e.V." for a fee of € 4.00 /piece. You will also receive the pilgrim's stamp for the Way of St. James on the left bank of the Rhine.

Are stamps for long-distance hiking trails available at the tourist information office in Koblenz?

You can obtain the Moselsteig Stamp Pass free of charge from the Tourist Information Office. The stamps for stages 22, 23 and 24 are also stamped. A stamp and the corresponding stamp pass are also available for the Rheinsteig trail .

Is the tourist information office in Koblenz air-conditioned?

The Koblenz Tourist Information Office is air-conditioned. The Forum Confluentes, where the Tourist Information Office is located, is a so-called cooling area. Cooling areas are fountains, publicly accessible buildings or shaded green areas in the city center that offer cooling in summer. You can find more information on this topic here.

Can I fill up my water bottle at the Tourist Information?

A refill station is available at the Tourist Information. Here you can fill your own drinking vessels (bottles, cups, etc.) with tap water free of charge.

Are there parking facilities near the tourist information office?

You will find the following parking facilities in the immediate vicinity of the Tourist Information Office:

  • Gymnasialstraße underground parking garage
  • Forum Mittelrhein (parking garage entrance via Luisenstraße)

Are there lockers at the Tourist Information?

There are no lockers in the Tourist Information. The nearest possibility to lock up small bags and hand luggage is next door in the Forum Mittelrhein, Zentralplatz 2. Larger items of luggage, such as suitcases and large rucksacks, can be locked in the lockers at Koblenz main station.

Can I park my bike at the Tourist Information?

There are numerous bicycle stands around the entire Forum Confluentes, where you will find the Tourist Information in Koblenz. Bicycles are not permitted in the building. The bicycle parking garage is located at Koblenz main station. You can find more information about the bicycle parking garage here.

Is there an e-bike charging station at or in the tourist information office?

You will find e-bike charging stations in the immediate vicinity at the ADAC Mittelrhein (corner of Luisenstraße/Viktoriastraße). You can charge your e-bike batteries here.

Can I take my dog with me to the Tourist Information?

Your dogs and other four-legged friends are very welcome here. There is also a drinking bowl at our water station for particularly thirsty animals.

Do you sell tickets for events and attractions?

You can purchase tickets for many tourist facilities such as the cable car, Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, boat trips and the Old Town Express at the Tourist Information Office. You can book our tourist offers online here. We are also a stationary advance booking office for select events that are sold via www.ticket-regional.de and www.eventim.de.

Can I buy tickets for Rhine in Flames® Koblenz from you?

The ticket offer with paid admission can be booked on site at the tourist information office and online here. You can find an overview of the wide range of events related to the wine culture of the wine city directly in the festival programme.

You can buy tickets for almost all events sold via www.ticket-regional.de or www.eventim.de at the Tourist Information Office.

Can I also book concert tickets with you by telephone?

No, the Tourist Information Office is a stationary advance booking office for www.ticket-regional.de and www.eventim.de. Tickets can only be purchased directly on site or online. Reservations cannot be made.

What are the most important sights in Koblenz?

The Deutsches Eck with its imperial monument, the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress cultural centre, one of the largest fortifications in Europe, and the Koblenz cable car are three of the most important sights in the city on the Rhine and Moselle rivers. But Koblenz has much more to offer. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

Where do the Rhine and Moselle meet?

The confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers is at the Deutsches Eck in Koblenz, which is crowned by a monumental equestrian statue of Kaiser Wilhelm I.

Is the cable car open all year round?

The Koblenz cable car runs daily from mid-March to November from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can find more information on the official website of the cable car.

Can I take a bicycle on the cable car?

You can take your bike with you on the cable car. Please note that there is a ticket price for this.

How much time should I plan for the fortress?

Due to the extensive grounds, numerous exhibitions, museums and the impressive views, you should plan at least 2-3 hours. For extensive explorations, please allow 4-6 hours.

You will find a large selection of free city maps and brochures at the tourist information office. You can also purchase specialist literature, for example hiking guides or cycling maps. Various brochures and maps are available for you to download here.
