Sayn Cultural Park
If you are traveling in the Westerwald, it is worth making a detour to Bendorf. Here in the Sayn Cultural Park, you can learn a lot about the fascinating production of iron. Iron was cast in the Sayn ironworks for over 100 years. Today, you can experience a piece of industrial history in an elaborate production with several augmented reality stations. Sayner Hütte is also a very popular venue for events. Trade fairs and exhibitions are regularly held here.

The Raiffeisen Bridge on the edge of the Westerwald, which you can see here, was inaugurated in 1978 and officially opened to traffic. It is widely recognized as a cable-stayed bridge due to its striking pillar construction and its rather untypical design for Germany.
