Limes Fort
The Limes fort in Pohl is a remarkable example of an accurate reconstruction of a Roman timber and clay fort with a watchtower. It offers visitors the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in life on the northern border of the vast Roman Empire around the year 100 AD. The Limes fort is also recognised as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper German-Raetian Limes, which also underlines its historical significance.
