You start in the historic Altstadt, which impresses with its picturesque squares, romantic alleyways and cozy courtyards. You then climb up to the imposing Festung Ehrenbreitstein. A 5000-year-old history awaits you on the extensive grounds, from the first settlements to the Celts, Romans and Prussians. You can also look forward to a magnificent panorama with views of the Kurfürstliche Schloss and the Deutsche Eck.
