The living vineyard

Nature-oriented adventure walk for all the senses, which highlights the diversity of flora and fauna in the wine landscape.

The guide

Together with the nature experience guide, you will explore a wide variety of habitats from vineyards to fallow land, orchards and a wetland biotope. Experience the natural landscape and wine culture landscape up close. Learn more about the history and geology of the Moselle region. Gain an insight into the work of the winegrower and how useful or harmful the plants and animals in his vineyard can be. Discover the flora, insects, reptiles, mammals and birds in a unique ecosystem. Be fascinated by the diversity of flora and fauna.

Information

This guided tour takes about 2.5 hours (4-5 km) and can be booked conveniently online. Alternatively, you can book your tour at the tourist information office at Forum Confluentes. Sturdy shoes and surefootedness are required. The guided tour will be offered on 29.04.2023 for the wine hiking weekend.
