Path to the history of the fortress

Experience how history comes to life at original historical locations.

The guide

The Festung Ehrenbreitstein, located on the rocky spur above the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle, is now part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Upper Middle Rhine Valley". The complex is part of a system of military fortifications around the city of Koblenz, but not only boasts 5,000 years of history, but also a magnificent panorama and a lively cultural center with interesting exhibitions. During the one-hour guided tour, you will experience how history comes to life on the basis of original historical sites, from Roman fortifications to knights' castles and Prussian fortifications.
